Katz Counseling and Educational Psychology is proud to announce the continuation of Holiday Hope Cases, a holiday charity drive to support children in the foster care system.
For this year’s charity, Katz Psychology invites you to focus on filling backpacks for teens. Some ideas for teens include gift cards to stores like Walmart and Target, games, decks of cards, activity pads, crafts, books, cards, fidgets, jewelry, and personal care items. We would like to extend the invitation for the community to participate by stuffing a bag then either mailing it to us or bringing it to the office.
Last year, we successfully filled 50 backpacks with a variety of items, and were able to help kids of all ages. Our filled backpacks were given to the children being placed into the foster care system during the holidays. This year, we have committed to stuffing 65 bags as a practice and are hoping for an even larger turnout with the help of this wonderful community.
Please mail or deliver filled bags or items to 12641 World Plaza Lane, Bldg. 56 Fort Myers, FL 33907. Contributions must be received by Thursday, December 1st, 2022. Any donations will be delivered to Children’s Network of Southwest Florida (CNS) for distribution locally.
We appreciate anyone and everyone who is willing to donate their time and efforts into this cause. These children have endured more heartbreak and obstacles than any child should have to experience. They deserve to be seen and feel special during this holiday season. If you feel led to give in any way, your help is appreciated.
Please contact Katz Psychology at (239) 247-1756 or coordinator@katzpsychology.com with any questions or concerns. We appreciate you and your generous contributions. Thank you!
